I believe that music is one of the most powerful tools for personal growth, self-expression, and community. As a music educator, choreographer, and performer, my goal is to create spaces where students feel empowered, inspired, and capable of achieving excellence; both artistically and personally. Every student brings their own voice, story, and energy to the room, and it is my responsibility to help them discover and develop their unique potential.
My experience working with children in before and after school programs taught me the value of patience, consistency, and positive mentorship. It also affirmed my belief that music and performance can be life-changing, especially when young people are given the encouragement and tools to succeed. Whether I'm directing, choreographing, or teaching music in a classroom, I strive to cultivate confidence, creativity, and a strong work ethic in my students.
Ultimately, my philosophy centers around connection: connecting students to their own abilities, to one another, and the joy of music. I aim to lead with heart, inspire through action, and help students become not only amazing performers but also thoughtful, driven individuals ready to make a difference.
